Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers information collected through rialta.exchange and the email and enquiry channels it offers. Rialta Exchange (“Rialta,” “we,” “us”) is building a CFTC Swap Execution Facility; this site is a marketing site, and no contract can be quoted, executed, or settled through it. Participation in the exchange itself will be governed by separate participant agreements and their own privacy terms.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you write to us, send us an enquiry, or sign up for launch updates, we collect what you choose to send: your name, email address, company, role, and anything you include in the body of a message or the enquiry form. The launch-updates signup asks only for an email address.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server and request data when you load a page — IP address, user agent, referring page, and timestamps. We use this to keep the site available and to rate-limit abuse of our forms. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell personal information.

3. How we use information

• To respond to enquiries and arrange conversations.
• To send launch updates to people who asked for them, until they ask us to stop.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site, including diagnosing errors and blocking automated abuse.
• To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations, including those that come with registration as a Swap Execution Facility.

4. How we share information

We share information with service providers who operate parts of this site on our behalf — hosting, email delivery, and the customer-relationship platform that receives our enquiry form — and only as far as they need it to perform that work. We also disclose information where we are required to by law, regulation, subpoena, or a request from a regulator or self-regulatory body with jurisdiction over us, and where necessary to protect our rights or the safety of others.

If Rialta is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, information covered by this policy may transfer as part of that transaction. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Where we use analytics to understand which pages are read, we configure it to collect aggregate usage data rather than to identify individual visitors. Our enquiry form is supplied by a third-party customer-relationship platform and loads its own script, which may set cookies of its own. Third-party pages we link to, our LinkedIn page among them, are governed by their own policies, not this one.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry and signup information for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, and longer where a legal, regulatory, or recordkeeping obligation requires it. Server logs are kept on a short rolling window. When information is no longer needed for any of those purposes, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Security

The site is served over TLS, form submissions are rate-limited, and access to enquiry data is restricted to the people at Rialta who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please write to us at the address below.

8. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from launch updates at any time using the link in any message we send, or by writing to us. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to withdraw a consent you previously gave. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows.

9. Where information is held

Rialta operates in the United States and Canada, and our service providers may process information in either country. Where we transfer personal information across a border, we do so under the safeguards the relevant law requires.

10. Children

This site is directed at commercial and institutional audiences. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as our practices and our regulatory obligations develop, and the date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be signalled on this page.
